God is Great!!!

This last week I had 4 of my grandsons for a week of fun & laughter & hugs!!! They attended V.B.S at my mom's church in the mornings, and they got to swim, slip & slide, bug hunt, play with water guns, and many other adventures!!One morning before we were fixing to gather for our morning prayer & review our memory verse for the week, I told the grandsons to pick up the toys in the play room. They started picking toys up rather slowly, But, it was so amazing when I heard the 4 year old grandson telling the other boys, "Ya'll come on!!! (In other words lets get this done!!) Then he said, "God is Great!!! God speaks to us thru the Bible, thru circumstances in our lives, and thru other people! That very moment that my 4 year old grandson said, "God is Great!!!'', God spoke thru a child to me!!! We serve a Great God! His lovingkindness is great!!!"For your lovingkindness is great to the heavens, And Your truth to the clouds. Psalm 57:10. It tells us of His great love, in Eph. 2:4, "But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us...." Great joy, Great Faith, Great Nations, there are many great things in the Bible that God tells us about, but, to sum it all up, a scripture that surely speaks of God's greatness indeed, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life." John 3:16. The Father gave His unique and beloved Son to die on behalf of sinful men. This truly showed the greatness of His love for us!! The intensity!!! I marvel at His greatness and I thank Him for His love for me!!! A sinner saved by grace thru faith!!!
